"We Can Cook" Class
Part of our Lyndon Learning Curriculum includes an age appropriate cooking classes each month. Bringing cooking into the classroom at a young age (18+ months) helps us to explore healthy eating habits and work on giving each child a sense of ownership over the foods they eat. This class is taught by our center's chef!
Lyndon Learning Childcare believes it is vital for each child to have the opportunity to play on a stimulating, age appropriate playground where they can explore and make sense of the world around them. For this reason, we have two separate playgrounds for our oldest and youngest students. Each class has multiples opportunities each day to play.
At Lyndon Learning Childcare, We know that part of learning is getting to explore and make sense of the world through our senses. We want children to have an opportunity for outdoor sensory play including: water and sand play, growing a garden and an outdoor kitchen.
Gross Motor Room
Lyndon Learning strives to set healthy life long examples for our students including providing opportunities for daily gross motor activities in our indoor playroom. Here students will find a beautifully designed space to ride bikes, throw balls and slide down from our mountainside loft! This is also our multi-purpose room for cooking classes and parties!
